Terms of service.
1. General
1.1 These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Chart Recruitment & Business Support (referred to as “the Company”). By engaging our services, you agree to comply with these terms.
1.2 The Company reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes.
2. Services
2.1 Services will be provided as per the agreed scope outlined during consultation or as detailed in a bespoke service quote.
2.2 Any additional work outside the agreed scope must be discussed and approved in writing before commencement.
3. Fees & Payment
3.1 Fees will be detailed in the service agreement or bespoke quote provided before the commencement of work.
3.2 A 50% deposit payment is due prior to the commencement of any work & remaining payment is due within 7 days of invoicing (after completion of work) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.3 Late payments may incur interest at a rate of 2% per month.
4. Confidentiality
4.1 The Company agrees to handle all client information with strict confidentiality.
4.2 No information will be shared with third parties without prior consent, except where required by law.
5. Liability
5.1 The Company will perform all services with due care and diligence but is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the services provided.
5.2 The client is responsible for reviewing all completed work to ensure accuracy.
6. Cancellation & Termination
6.1 Clients may cancel services with 7 days’ written notice. Any work completed up to the cancellation date will be invoiced.
6.2 The Company reserves the right to terminate services immediately in cases of non-payment, breach of these Terms & Conditions, or inappropriate behavior.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 All materials created by the Company for the client will become the property of the client upon full payment of the invoice.
7.2 The Company reserves the right to use non-confidential materials for portfolio purposes.
8. Remote Work & Communication
8.1 Most services are provided remotely, with communication via email, phone, or video conferencing unless otherwise agreed.
8.2 The client is responsible for providing timely responses and access to required resources to enable efficient service delivery.
9. Dispute Resolution
9.1 In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through discussion before pursuing legal action.
10. Governing Law
10.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
11. Acceptance of Terms
11.1 By engaging the Company’s services, the client acknowledges and accepts these Terms & Conditions. We will ask that you return a signed copy accepting the terms along with the required payment prior to the commencement of any work.
